£1,000 handouts – what next?

Stimulate spending by handing out £1,000 – in effect buying out the next year of £20 increase in benefit. Barmy – like the Eat Out to Help Out scheme that cost the country money AND pushed up covid infection rates.

If the Chancellor really wants to stimulate spending there’s one absolutely certain way, CUT TAXES. That’s so important it needs to be said twice – CUT TAXES.

Every £ that the greedy government takes in taxation is one pound that you and I can not spend for ourselves. The government does not spend our priorities. When we spend we buy the goods and services that we want and that builds up the businesses that we want. We will never know what new services or businesses have not been created because the money we would have spent on them has been taken by the greed government and handed out on government priorities.
