Barking up the wrong tree

Google is proposing to launch its Street View in the UK. This technology provides real views of streets so you can take a virtual walk or drive along them.

Privacy International, a UK rights group, believes the technology breaks data protection laws - are these people serious?

With 1 CCTV camera for every 14 people and our photo recorded over 300 times a day, massive intrusion into our lives by government and these people are concerning themselves over indistinct faces on websites, they really need to ask themselves whether or not they want to be taken seriously.

This is laughable, there are real problems of privacy and data protection in the UK and they all come from the government.
