British jobs for British workers!

Gordon Brown and the rest of his government had better listen to the people who are taking strike action about foreign workers being brought into the UK.

Instead of coming out fighting with all guns blazing and slagging off the honest, hard-working people of this country he and his colleagues should be listening hard and doing something to help. He should realise that the people are not in the slightest bit bothered about foreigners. He himself said it 'British jobs for British workers', if he didn't mean it then he should have kept his mouth shut.

We in the UK and every other EU country do have a problem. Each of our governments has given away so many of their soverign rights that there is precious little left. Gordon loves to talk about sovereignty when it suits him, but the fact is that we have very little room to do anything without asking Brussels, and we have to accept all the EU rules and regulations without question whether they are good for us or not.

The Lisbon Treaty is another that will be imposed upon us unless the Irish rescue the rest of Europe, let's just hope that the Irish vote NO again, loudly and clearly.
