Britain IS the surveillance society already

Keith Vaz says we are in danger of becoming the surveillance society

Look around and you will realise that we are already there. 4.2 million CCTV cameras watch us every day, collecting more that 300 images of each of us each day.

What happens to those images, who pours over them and what are they used for?

If Gordon Brown has his way all your personal data including fingerprints, iris scans and most likely you DNA profile will go into a government database that will be accessible by countless government agencies from traffic wardens upwards.

We have seen the incompetence of government in handling data so why do we trust them?

Write to your MP today and oppose these plans before it's too late.
