The labour toffs

Labour has created a new kind of privilege for their clients. The privilege or rather the enormous raft of privileges that come with various state handouts. The language that goes with it is interesting too. For instance Lancashire Adult Learning has certain classes of people who can claim lower fees, you would expect that to start with pensioners, but no, it's basically for the unemployed and people getting other handouts, let's look who . . .

  • unemployed people in receipt of income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
  • those in receipt of Council Tax Benefit
  • those in receipt of Housing Benefit
  • those in receipt of Income Support
  • those in receipt of Working Tax credit with a household income less than £15,050
  • those in receipt of Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit only)
  • those in receipt of income-related Employment and Support Allowance

So basically if you are already getting a state handout you can get more, but pensioners get nothing.

Look too at the language used, 'those in receipt of' the new elite of British society who get everything that's going!

Let's just reflect on the fact that this government is wasting billions of pounds of taxpayer's money on a war that has been going on for 8 years and is costing the lives of our young men almost every day. What has become of common sense?

Common sense suggests that the money being lavished on the population of Afghanistan would be better spent on UK citizens providing them with a few evening classes.
