87% of UK population against second bank bailout

Another great example of Chard's Hypothesis*, a second bank bailout.

In a straw poll the Daily Mail found that 87% of people were against pouring more money into the banks.

* Chard's Hypothesis - postulated by R Alan Chard, briefly states that ' The more important the decision, the less justification that is necessary.' Good examples areĀ  . . .

  • Going to war by Tony Blair, on the slim pretence of weapons of mass destruction
  • Most politican decisions that are unpopular
  • the second bank bailout, billions of taxpayers money committed without reference to Parliament or any due consultation with anyone, simply Gordon's whim
