The problem is not big companies moving their profits offshore

Our government would like us believe that there is a huge problem with companies moving their profits offshore so they pay their taxes in a different country. Dear George Osborne wants to share information, do this and do that, all of which is tinkering and posturing. The real problem is so simple . . . taxes are too high.

History shows that low-taxes stimulate the economy, dear George would like us to believe the opposite.

No-one likes paying tax, we would all like to pay less, when taxes are high people will put effort into finding ways to reduce their overall tax bill rather than producing wealth. Get that into your head George and stop taking too much tax.

You can begin by reducing VAT and see what happens to spending!
